Barcelona found themselves on the wrong end of a 4-0 thrashing in the UEFA Champions League last night.
The Catalan giants are on the brink of a UCL exit after suffering their worst defeat during manager Luis Enrique’s reign at the club.
Arda Turan fortunately missed yesterday’s thrashing due to a groin injury. The Turkey international is expected to return in time for the second leg.
PSG were already 2-0 up going into half time and many awaited a response from the reigning La Liga champions in the second half. However, the second half was a repeat of the first as the Ligue 1 giants doubled their lead to 4-0.
Barcelona face an uphill struggle if they are to remain in this season’s European competition.
Fans of the La Liga club were dismayed by their sides performance and took to social media to vent their frustrations.
Terrible day for FC Barcelona and their fans last night.
