Fatih Terim to manage his 109th game in charge of the Turkish national team
Fatih Terim will lead the Turkish national team out for the 109th time on Saturday when Turkey take on the Netherlands in a Euro 2016 qualification clash.
The experienced manager is currently in his third stint at the national team after replacing Abdullah Avci in 2013.
Terim has lead the Turkish national team to victory in 53 of the 108 games he has managed so far. 28 resulted in defeat while 27 were draws.
The former AC Milan manager has won 10, lost five and drawn 16 of the games he has managed in his third spell in charge.
Turkey are currently 4th in Group A with four points in four games. Fatih Terim’s side have won just one game so far and know a defeat could leave them 11 points off the leaders the Czech Republic.
The Dutch are currently third in Euro 2016 qualification Group A with six points from four games, while Turkey sit fourth with four points after four games.
