FC Porto have increased their valuation of Daniel Opare following the Ghana international’s impressive form.

The 24-year-old is currently on loan at Besiktas from FC Porto, with the deal set to expire at the end of the season. The two clubs did not agree upon a buy out clause.

Opare has become a fan favourite in a short space of time following impressive performances against Liverpool in the Europa League Round of 32 second-leg and after scoring in his first league game against Balıkesirspor on the weekend.

The Black Eagles knocked Liverpool out of the Europa League and will face Club Brugge next in the Last 16.

The 24-year-old has also won the fans over with his rallying cries before and after games.

Opare famously said he would die for Beşiktaş after the Liverpool game at the Atatürk Olympic stadium.
