Fenerbahce draw Celtic in Europa League Group A

The UEFA Europa League group stage draw took place today at Monaco at 12:00 GMT

Fenerbahçe were drawn from Pot 3 against Ajax, Celtic and Molde in group A.

The Yellow Canaries have returned to European football after a two-year absence. The last time Fenerbahçe was in the Europa League they made it all the way to the semi-finals under the command of Aykut Kocaman.

Fenerbahçe are currently coached by Vitor Pereira who guided Olympiakos to the league and cup double last season.

The Istanbul giants have made 10 signings over the transfer window bringing in the likes of former Manchester United duo Robin van Persie and Luis Nani.

The Turkish Super league side also singed Lille defender Simon Kjaer, Brazil international Josef de Souza and three Turkish international players in Volkan Şen, Şener Özbayraklı, Ozan Tufan and last seasons top scorer in the league Fernandao.

Fenerbahçe could make their 11th signing of the summer as they are in talks with Liverpool forward Lazar Markovic.
