The details of the offer being put forward has yet to be disclosed but Liverpool could be tempted to allow Yeşil to leave on loan to gain first team experience at a club that will challenge for the title and play European competition football.

Yeşil joined Liverpool on a €1 million deal from Bayer Leverkusen in 2013 as one of the most highly rated players in Europe but as a result of an unfortunate string of injuries he fell into obscurity.

Yeşil was born in Germany but his family hail from Turkey, the north eastern Black Sea province of Trabzon to be precise.

The 21-year-old was born in the North Rhine-Westphalia state in Germany home to some of the most successful Turkish players in the world game including Mesut Özil, the Altıntop twins, İlkay Gündoğan and Nuri Şahin.
