Fenerbahce interested in Mainz midfielder Yunus Malli says father [divider]
Fenerbahçe are in talks with Mainz midfielder Yunus Malli according to his father İlhan Malli.
“Fenerbahçe have been keeping tabs on Yunus since last season, we did not hold talks during the half time break directly but there was contact and talks are ongoing now,” Ilhan told Bügün.

Malli’s father also confirmed that a number of other Turkish and Bundesliga clubs are in talks with his son.
“Yunus’ contract with Mainz runs out at the end of the season, Turkish and Bundesliga clubs are in talks with him,” he added.
Malli is free to speak directly with other clubs as he will be out of contract at the end of the Bundesliga campaign.
Mainz have been in talks to renew the 22-year-old’s contract but have yet to reach an agreement.
Despite being born in Germany, Malli is eligible to represent the Crescent-Stars at international level and would play under a domestic status in Turkey.
Fenerbahçe are currently 2nd in the Süper Lig on 46 points after 20 games.
