The Italian international scored five goals in 20 appearances for the Serie A strugglers this season.

“Parma have today reached a mutual agreement with Antonio Cassano to cancel his playing contract,” said a statement on Parma’s website.

Stoke City have also been closely linked with the 32-year-old according to Sportmediaset.

Torino, Bari and MLS clubs are also reported to be interested but Cassano has ruled out a move to the US.

“My agent suggested I go to America, but I’ll only go to America or Dubai when I am 40 years old and can’t run anymore,” Cassano told Football Italia.

Fenerbahçe are currently first in the Süper Lig with 39 points from 17 games but are yet to make a transfer this January.

The Yellow Canaries take on Karabükspor away on Saturday.
