Fenerbahce know how to win when playing bad says Kartal [divider]
Fenerbahçe manager Ismail Kartal underlined that his side know how to win even when not playing at their best following the 1-0 win against Erciyesspor.
“It is important to be able to play bad and win,” Kartal said.
“That is the hallmark of a big team, we won the game and are now at the top of the table on 30 points.
“Our away form has not been the best but it is improving, we now have won three away games this season.
“It was a tough away game, we knew we were in for a tough game beforehand anyway.
“We came for the three points and left with them so the players deserve credit.
“The opposition did not get many chances, we played a disciplined game, created chances and won the game.
Fenerbahçe moved into first place on 30 points following the victory having played an extra game than Galatasaray and Beşiktaş who would both overtake the Yellow Canaries with win.
