Fenerbahce offer Atletico Madrid target Mehmet Topal a contract extension

Fenerbahce are preparing to offer Mehmet Topal a four year contract and pay rise in January.

The Istanbul giants are set to table an offer which will extend Topal’s contract until 2018 and raise his yearly salary from €2million to €3 million.

La Liga sides Atletico Madrid, Sevilla, Espanyol and Malaga have expressed an interest in the Turkish international.

Topal previously played for the Spanish side Valencia. The former Galatasaray player spent two seasons at the Los Murciélagos.

The 28-year-old has played all 15 of Fenerbahce Turkish Super League games this season.

Topal’s contract with Fenerbahce ends in June 2016.
