Fenerbahce are set to loan Baris Alici to Rizespor according to TRT Spor.

Per the source, the 22-year-old winger does not feature in Fenerbahce head coach Ersun Yanal’s plans next season.

Rizespor manager Ismail Kartal meanwhile, has made no secret of his desire to sign Alici and make use of him next term.

Fenerbahce signed Alici from Altinordu last summer but the Istanbul based side had a chaotic season which saw Phillip Cocu replaced by Yanal midway through the season.

Additionally, the Yellow Canaries spent a large part of the season hovering just above the relegation zone despite eventually finishing in 6th position.

Alici scored two goals and provided two assists 25 appearances across all competitions last term.

Alici does still have another three-years remaining on his Fenerbahce contract but does not look likely to feature under Yanal next term.

Yanal sent the young winger on loan at Malatyaspor over the second half of the season.
