Fenerbahce have made a shortlist of five young South American players after monitoring the Campeonato Sudamericano Sub-20 (2015 South American Youth Football Championship) which was held in Uruguay from 14 January to 7 February 2015.

According to the Turkish newspaper Milliyet, Fenerbahce scouts Kemalettin Şentürk and Saffet Akbaş have returned to Turkey with scouting reports from the tournament.

According to the report the five names on Fenerbahce’s shortlist are:

Kenedy (Fluminense)
Marlon Santos (Fluminense)
Malcom Oliviera (Corinthians)
Thalles Lima (Vasco de Gama)
Davinson Sanchez (Atletico Naciona)

The Yellow Canaries are looking to reduce the average age of their squad next season by replacing the likes of Dirk Kuyt and Pierre Webo with younger players.

Fenerbahce are currently second in the Turkish Super League with 46 points in 20 games.
