Fenerbahçe take the most shots per-game in Europe [divider]

Fenerbahçe beat Galatasaray 1-0 in the Intercontinental derby at the Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium on the weekend and maintained their record as the leading shot takers in Europe.

The Yellow Canaries average 14.3 shots per-game making them leaders when compared with the top five leagues in Europe according to Opta.

Bayern Munich are second with 14.17 shots per-game and followed by Real Madrid, Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus and Marseille.

Fellow Süper Lig side Bursaspor are eight on the list, averaging 12.35 goals per-match.

Bursaspor take fewer shots on average than Fenerbahçe but have scored the most goals in the league.

The Green Crocodiles have hit the back of the net 44 times in the league this season, while Fenerbahçe have only scored 38 times.

Despite taking the most shots on average Fenerbahçe have one of the worst conversion rates in the league at 9.4 percent.

Fenerbahçe moved just one point behind league leaders Galatasaray and Beşiktaş who are both tied on 51 points.

The Yellow Canaries take on Gençlerbirliği in Ankara next weekend in the Süper Lig.
