Fenerbahce target three young Turkish players in January

Fenerbahçe are planning to bring in three young Turkish talents in January.

The Istanbul club has put an emphasis on bringing in young Turkish players due to the foreign player restrictions imposed by the Turkish Super League.

Turkish clubs are currently permitted to sign nine foreign players. Süper Lig clubs are only allowed to play five foreign players at any one time and have a maximum of three additional non-Turkish players on the field.

Head of Youth Development Mujdat Yetkiner has singled out Cenk Şahin from Başakşehir, Anıl Koç from Sint-Truiden and Ibrahim Yılmaz from Altinordu from his scouting assignment.

Fenerbahçe have also been scouting central Europe for young Turkish talent.
