Fenerbahce v Celtic: Expected Starting Line Ups – Robin van Persie expected to miss clash

Jeremain Lens

Fenerbahçe take on Celtic and the Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium needing a win to book a place in the Europa League Round of 32.

Under the current permutations the Yellow Canaries could even book a place in the next round with just a draw should Ajax drop points against Molde in the other Group A game.

The Istanbul giants do have a number of key absentees including Luis Nani and Simon Kjaer who are both out suspended.

Experienced midfielder Raul Meireles is out injured and former Manchester United striker Robin van Persie is a doubt.

Fenerbahçe boss Vitor Pereira is likely to give on-loan Liverpool winger Lazar Markovic the nod ahead of the suspended Nani and Alper Potuk who scored on the weekend is also expected to start on the other flank.

Celtic are already out of the competition after picking up just two points from their first five games.
