Fenerbahce go onto the intercontinental derby on the back of a defeat to Akhisar Belediyespor and a draw against Konyaspor. The Yellow Canaries are four points behind their rivals Galatasaray and know a defeat or draw would leave them a long way off the top spot.
The Yellow Canaries have a great record against Galatasaray at home. The last time the Lions beat the Canaries away was back in 1999. Bekir Irtegun, Alper Potuk, Hasan Ali Kaldirim and Serdar Kesimal are injury doubts for the Galatasaray game.

Galatasaray have secured their position at the top of the table following a run of four victories. Hamza Hamzaoglu’s side will remain top of the league even in defeat against their rivals.
If the Lions put an end to their 16 year winless streak at the Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium they will go seven points clear of Fenerbahce.
Goran Pandev, Aydin Yilmaz and Felipe Melo have been ruled out through injury.

Galatasaray go into the game in better form and will be able to call upon their top goal-scorer Burak Yilmaz after he recovered from a hamstring injury. However, Fenerbahce have a great record against Galatasaray at home and will be favorites going into the game.
Fenernahce need a win and will start on the front foot while Galatasaray have scored the second highest amount goals in the league (41). Predicting a high scoring encounter with both sides ending up on the scoresheet.
