Fenerbahçe vice-presiden Nihat Özbağı has confirmed the signing of Manchester United winger Nani according to Vatan.
Özbağı is reported to have told a reporter from the newspaper while on holiday in Antalya that Nani is a done deal.
Fenerbahçe are reported to have offered United €8 million for Nani on a four year deal worth in the region of €3.5 million per-season according to the Sun.
The Portuguese international’s agent Federico Pastorello held talks with Fenerbahçe sporting director Giuliano Terraneo in Istanbul last week and negotiations are believed to have been successful.
The experienced winger is expected to arrive in Turkey on Thursday to join the Istanbul giants according to the Hurriyet.
Nani is expected to leave United this summer after falling out of favour with former manager David Moyes and his successor Louis van Gaal. The Portuguese international duty does however, still have three years left on his current deal with the Red Devils.
The 28-year-old spent last season on loan at Sporting Lisbon scoring 12 goals and providing 8 assists in 38 appearances.
