FIFA 18 ratings: Liverpool ace rating downgraded despite stunning start to season
EA Sport’s FIFA 18 is weeks away from being released and the argument surrounding ratings has already begun.
Liverpool’s highest rated player is – unsurprisingly – Philippe Coutinho. The Brazil international came close to a move to Barcelona over the summer but the Reds resisted all bids from the La Liga giants.
Sadio Mane is a close second after being given a rating of 82. The Senegal international’s strongest attribute is his pace which has been rated at 93.
Surprisingly, Emre Can’s rating has decreased from 80 to 79. The move comes as a massive surprise following the star midfielder’s impressive start to the 2017-18 season. Can scored a brace against Hoffenheim and put on several dominant midfield displays for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Can is expected to keep his place in Liverpool’s starting lineup when they take on Sevilla in the UEFA Champions League tonight.
The Reds will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing 5-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester City last weekend.
