The former Arsenal winger Gervinho has been linked with a move to Galatasaray according to the Italian newspaper La Gazetta dello Sport.
Gervinho – who now plays for the Serie A giants Roma – has been offered out to Galatasaray with the Italian club wanting €12 million for his services.
The 28-year-old was on the verge of a move to Al-Jazira last month but the deal collapsed when the explosive winger changed his mind.
Sporting director Walter Sabatini told reporters: “No [Gervinho doesn’t want to move]. He changed his mind and wants to stay with us now.”
The Ivory Coast international has three years remaining on his contract and has been valued at €12 million by his club.
Gervinho provided six assists and scored seven goals for Roma in all competitions last season. The 28-year-old has scored 20 goals in 71 appearances for the Ivory Coast.
The former Arsenal man has also previously played for LOSC Lille, FC Le Mans and KSK Beveren.
