The former Chelsea and Barcelona forward Samuel Eto’o will be Antalyaspor’s player-manager when they take on Trabzonspor tonight in the Turkish Super Lig.
Kick off is at 17:00 (GMT) and the game will be played at the Avni Aker stadium in Trabzon. Antalyaspor sit in 10th place with 20 points in 15 games.
Eto’o has had a great start to his Turkish adventure. The former Barcelona man is the top goal scorer in the league with 13 goals and has even taken over as interim manager at the his club Antalyaspor.
The Scorpions have won both games since Eto’o took over last week and he even hinted that he has his eye set on taking over as player-manage on a permanent basis.
Eto’o has had an illustrious playing career winning two Champions League and three La Liga titles at Barcelona as well as the treble – including the Champions League, Serie A and Italian Cup – at Inter.
