Elano plays for Chennaiyin who are managed by the former Italy national team defender Marco Materazzi.
Elano has scored six goals and made two assists in five appearances for Chennaiyin in the Indian Hero League.
The Brazilian international spent two season at Galatasaray where he made 32 appearances.
