Former Stoke City forward linked with a return to Turkey

Tuncay Sanli has been linked with a move to the Turkish first division club Karşıyaka S.K.

The Izmir based club are looking to build a team which can complete for promotion to the Turkish Super Lig next season and have singled out Tuncay Sanli as a top priority.

Tuncay has spent the past season playing under the Turkish manager Bulent Uygun for the Qatar Start League side Umm-Salal.

The Turkish international’s contract with Umm-Salal expires in June 2015.

Tuncay has previously played for both Middlesbrough and Stoke City in the Premier League. The 33-year-old has also been contracted to Sakaryaspor, Fenerbahce, Wolfsburg, Bolton and Bursaspor.

The former Stoke City man has 11 goals in 26 apperances for Umm-Salal this season.

Karşıyaka have 44 points in 33 games in the PTT 1.Lig and take on Adanaspor in their final game of the season.

The side nicknamed Kaf Kaf have also been lionked with a move for the Nigerian international Michael Eneramo.
