Besiktas have recently been linked with a move for Liverpool’s out-of-favour striker Mario Balotelli. The Black Eagles are on the hunt for a new striker following reports linking Demba Ba with a move away from the club.
However, here are four reasons why Besiktas should avoid signing Balotelli at all costs.
1. Expensive
Despite being a major disappointment this season Ballotelli still has three years remaining on his contract, meaning Liverpool will not want to let the Italy international go for cheap. The 24-year-old was signed from AC Milan for over €20 million at the start of the season and the Red’s will be looking to re-coup as much money as they can.
