Galatasaray 1-0 Akhisar: Kostas Mitroglou Keeps Lions In Title Race With Last Gasp Winner

Galatasaray braved the blizzard-like conditions to beat Akhisar 1-0 at the Turk Telekom Arena.

The Lions had to wait until the fifth minute of added time to find a winner.

January arrival Kostas Mitroglou exploited a defensive error from Akhisar keeper Lukac to curl the ball into the net.

The goal was his first since joining from Ligue 1 outfit Marseille.

The victory was the Lions third successive league victory and kept them six points behind league leaders Basaksehir.
