Turkish Süper Lig leaders Galatasaray advanced to the Ziraat Turkish Cup final with an aggregate score of 5-3 against Medicana Sivasspor, despite losing the second leg 2-1 away at the 4 Eylül stadium.
Batuhan Karadeniz scored a brace for the home side on 68 and 74 minutes. Sivasspor pushed for another goal that would have took them through to the final but ended up being hit with a sucker punch as Emre Çolak converted his penalty attempt on 83 minutes.
Galatasaray beat Sivasspor 4-1 at the Türk Telekom Arena in the first leg.
The Lions could face either Fenerbahçe or Bursaspor in the final, the second leg semi-final tie will be played on May 21. The Yellow Canaries are currently leading 2-1 on aggregate after beating the Green Crocodiles at the Atatürk stadium.
Galatasaray are currently first in the Süper Lig with 73 points, three points ahead of second placed Fenerbahçe and seven ahead of third placed Beşiktaş.
The Lions take on Beşiktaş next in the league on Sunday.
