Konyaspor 2 – 3 Bursaspor – Bursaspor get off to a winning start

“The rumours about Fernandao are rumours, we have not made an offer and we are not in talks with the player in question,” Dürüst was quoted as saying by Maraton.

Fernandao is currently on loan at Bursaspor from Atlético-PR. The Green Crocodiles have a €5 million buyout clause which remains active until the end of the season.

The 27-year-old striker has 12 goals and one assist in all competitions this season.

Fernandao scored his 11th Süper Lig goal against Konyaspor on the weekend, taking him to the top of the goal scoring charts alongside Akhisar striker Gekas and Galatasaray forward Burak Yılmaz.

Bursaspor beat the Anatolian Eagles 3-2 to move into fourth place on 29 points.

The Green Crocodiles have scored more goals than any other Süper Lig side this season (34).

Bursaspor have scored 17 goals at home and 17 goals away and are managed by former Turkish national team coach Şenol Güneş.
