Galatasaray line up Marcelo Grohe as Muslera replacement
Galatasaray are drawing up a list of possible replacement for Muslera in the event that the Uruguayan international leaves in July according to the Turkish newspaper Fanatik.
According to the report, Gremio’s 28-year-old goalkeeper Marcelo Grohe has been recommended to the club by goalkeeping coach Claudio Taffarel .
The report goes into state that Galatasaray have set aside €6 million for the Brazilian goalkeeper and will table a bid if Muslera is sold at the end of the season.
Galatasaray recently purchased Alex Telles from Gremio.
Muslera has been one of Galatasaray’s top performers this season and is expected to start in the Lions Turkish Super League fixture against bottom of the table Balikesirspor this weekend.
The Uruguayan international has made 24 appearances for the Istanbul Giants this season.
Galatasaray sit in third place in the league with 42 points in 19 games.
