Galatasaray played well says Prandelli [divider]
Cesare Prandelli claimed that Galatasaray played well despite losing 2-0 against Anderlecht in the Champions League Group D.
“We will continue on our way even though we are sad to leave European competition,” Prandelli said.
“I take full responsibility for this defeat. It was a good Galatasaray tonight.
“We could have equalised in the second half but everything became tough when we went down to 10 men.
“Yes, there are tensions. It is normal that there is a bit of irritability.
“Players are human, they have feelings, they know we are going through a very difficult moment and they want to give more than what they currently are.”
Galatasaray have yet to win in the Champions League this season, the Lions have only picked up a single point after five games.
The Süper Lig giants have conceded 15 times and only scored twice in the competition.
