Galatasaray are preparing a double swoop for Manchester United’s Bastian Schweinsteiger and Antonio Valencia according to the Turkish newspaper AMK.

The tabloid paper clams the Galatasaray are looking to sign both Schweinsteiger and Valencia by the end of the month. AMK goes onto state that the Lions have se aside £3 million for the Germany international and £1.25 million for the Ecuadorian winger.

Valencia is into the final year of his contract and the Lions would be able to sign him as a free agent next summer but are keen on strengthening their attacking options over the current transfer window.

Meanwhile Galatasaray want Schweinsteiger on loan with a buyout clause option. The 32-year-old still has another two years remaining on his United contract and the Sun claim he would be set to earn £14 million should he stay.

The Istanbul giants have also been closely linked with Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva, Arsenal full-back Mathieu Debuchy and Newcastle defender Daryl Janmaat.
