Galatasaray have reignited their interest in the Marseille centre back Doria.
The Istanbul giants came close to signing the 20-year-old defender during the summer transfer window but were unable to agree upon a fee with his former club Botafogo.
Doria eventually moved to the Ligue 1 side Marseille.
However, Doria fell out of favour with the Marseille manager Marcelo Bielsa and has not played any football this season for the French side.
“I found out about the Doria signing on Monday afternoon when he was arriving for his medical, I opposed it.” Bielsa said.
Galatasaray who are looking to bring in a centre-back alternative for Aurelien Chedjou in January are preparing to make a loan bid for the Brazil international.
Doria, who made 18 appearances for Botafogo last season is yet make an appearance for Marseille.
