Galatasaray reluctant to sell Manchester United target Fernando Muslera

Galatasaray’s board are weighing up their options following reports linking their star goalkeeper Fernando Muslera with a move to Manchester United.

United are understood to be preparing a £24.5 million bid for Galatasaray goalkeeper Fernando Muslera if De Gea departs Old Trafford according to the Metro.

However, the Turkish newspaper Fanatik state that the Istanbul giants are wary of offloading two fan favourites Felipe Melo and Muslera in one transfer window.

De Gea has been closely linked with a move to Real Madrid throughout the summer transfer window and the Daily Star claim that the 24-year-old is ‘desperate’ for a move to the La Liga giants.

Muslera played a key role in the Lions winning the league for a record 20th time last season and earning the right to wear a fourth star – Galatasaray also won the double for a record sixth time.

The experienced keeper has won three league titles at the Lions and also the Copa America with Uruguay.
