Galatasaray have been linked with a move for Bayern Munich’s out-of-favour centre-back Dante according to Eurosport.

Eurosport state that the Brazilian international’s agent has held early talks with Galatasaray.

The powerful defender was often overlooked by Bayern boss Pep Guardiola last season with Jerome Boateng and Medhi Benatia securing first team places.

However, Dante recently stated that he wants to remain at the Bundesliga Champions.

“[I see my future] with FC Bayern,” Dante told the official Bundesliga website (via Talksport).

“I’ve been playing here for three years now and I know every single day how fortunate I am to be able to play for such a big club. I enjoy every day here.

“Just think, I’ve been in at least the semi-finals of the Champions League and the DFB-Pokal Cup in each of these three years, and won the Bundesliga each time.

“It can hardly get any better than that. I’ll always give everything for this club.”

Manchester United have also been linked with a move for the 31-year-old according to the Daily Express.

The 31-year-old has made 39 appearances for Bayern Munich in all competitions last season and has 14 international caps with Brazil.
