Galatasaray sound out loan move for Chelsea star Kurt Zouma

Michy Batshuayi

Galatasaray are looking into the possibility of loaning Chelsea centre-back Kurt Zouma until the end of the season.

A source close to the club has revealed to Trukish-Football.com that the Lions have made contact with Zouma’s agent however, no further talks have taken place.

Zouma is yet to make an appearance for Chelsea in the Premier League this season due to  a long-term knee injury he suffered last season.

The young France international made an immediate impression after breaking into Chelsea’s first team under Jose Mourinho.

Zouma faces major competition for a starting place at Chelsea with Cesar Azpilcueta, David Luiz and Gary Cahill all regular first team players in the Blues back-three.

Furthermore, Chelsea have recalled defender Nathan Ake from his loan spell at Bournemouth.

However, Zouma recently told the Telegraph that he is willing to be patient and wait until he is given his chance.

“Everybody needs to be patient, even myself,” Zouma told the Telegraph.

“Everyone wants to play, but you need to be patient. The team is doing well.”
