Galatasaray target Lukas Podolski will hold talks with Arsenal over his future.

“I have a contract with Arsenal until 2016. I feel at home in London and get on with the fans very well,” Podolski told German newspaper Bild.

“Nevertheless, I will try to speak with the coach and the club to see what is best for all parties.

“I want to play football and am not the type to sit on the bench until my contract expires.”

Podolski was closely linked with the Lions over the summer transfer and were close to reaching an agreement however, the deal fell through.

The German international has yet to start for Arsenal in the Premier League this season and has only made three appearances as a substitute.

Podolski joined Arsenal from FC Köln in 2012 and has gone on to make 74 appearances for the club scoring 28 times.
