Galatasaray to make changes to their squad despite 22nd Turkish Super Lig title triumph

Galatasaray will be in search of their 23rd Turkish Super Lig title and given the state their opponents are already favourites to do so.

Second-placed Basaksehir are expected to make major revisions to their ageing squad this summer. Meanwhile, third-placed Besiktas are on the search for a new manager after Senol Gunes agreed to join the Turkish National Team.

Meanwhile, Galatasaray are also set to make several changes to their squad over the summer transfer window despite securing their 22nd Turkish Super Lig title last weekend.

The Istanbul giants made three signings in January which proved to be pivotal this season and have already added Netherlands international Ryan Babble to their ranks. The former Liverpool forward has joined the Lions on a two-year deal.

Younes Belhanda is also expected to leave after Al Hilal tabled a €9 million offer. Star of the season Sofiane Feghouli’s future at the club is also uncertain with Sevilla linked with a move.

The Lions will also need to replace Henry Onyekuru whose loan deal with the club expires this summer.
