Galatasaray are ready to match Roberto Soldado’s €2.2 million per season wages according to TalkSport.

The Istanbul Giants have been in talks with both Tottenham and the Spanish international striker over the past week.

Galatasaray are yet to agree a transfer fee with Tottenham but a understood to be preparing a €9 million move.

The 30-year-old joined Tottenham from Valencia for €30 million back in 2013 but has disappointed fans since his arrival.


Soldado scored just 1 goal in 24 Premier League appearances this season and has two years remaining on his contract with the North London based club.

The Spanish international is expected to leave this summer after losing his place in the starting line up to Harry Kane.

Soldado has scored seven goals in 12 appearances for the Spanish national team.

Galatasaray won the league title for a record 20th time last season and booked a place in next seasons Champions League group stages.
