Galatasaray turned down offers for Chelsea target Alex Telles

Galatasaray manager Hamza Hamzaoglu has stated that the Istanbul Giant’s have rejected bids for their Brazilian left back Alex Telles.

Speaking to NTV Spor Hamzaoglu said, “We have not received a bid which matches our valuation for Alex [Telles].

“Therefore we have not allowed him to leave. If a bid comes in close to our valuation we will consider selling him.”

Galatasaray will not consider offers under €10 million Telles according to the Sabah newspaper.

Sky Italia reporter Gianluca Di Marzio has stated that Telles is nearing a move to Chelsea.

The 22-year-old joined Galatasaray on a €6 million transfer from Gremio last January and still has another three-years left on his current deal.

The Brazilian fullback was part of the Galatasaray side that won the league title for a record 20th time last season. The Lions also won the double and earned the right to wear a fourth star on their shirt next season.

Telles provided a total of two goals and three assists in 56 games for the Lions last season.
