Galatasaray board member Abdurrahim Albayrak underlined that the Lions will win the league title and the fourth star in the process at the end of the season.
“We will be crowned the champions and get our fourth star,” Albayrak was quoted as saying in the Hürriyet Daily News.
Albayrak revealed the importance of each and every game until the end of the season ahead of the Karabükspor game.
“We have nine games left, starting with the Karabükspor game,” he added.
The Galatasaray board member urged fans to turn out and fill the stadium for the Karabükspor game.
The match will be played in the afternoon which is unusual for the leagues major sides and a low turnout is expected.
“The match will be played in the afternoon, and I tell our supporters, ‘let’s break a record. Let’s fill the stadium to its maximum and show everybody else that we are determined for the title,” Albayrak said.
Galatasaray are currently first in the Süper Lig, one point ahead of second placed Beşiktaş and two ahead of third placed Fenerbahçe.
Karabükspor have lost their last three consecutive away games and have dropped into the relegation zone.
