Galatasaray's Amrabat scores again

Galatasaray’s Amrabat has continued his rich vein of form by finding the back of the net while on international duty with Morocco.

The flamboyant winger scored the only goal in Morocco’s 1-0 victory over Benin.

Galatasaray board member Abdurrahim Albayrak has recently stated that he wants Nordin Amrabat to return to Istanbul after his loan deal with Malaga comes to an end.

“We have a number of players who are doing well abroad,” Albayrak said.

“When Amrabat arrived I gave him his number 53 shirt and when he returns I will give his 53 shirt back to him again.”

Malaga however, are considering an offer for the Moroccan international and believe that Amrabat is happy at the club according to general manager Vincente Casado.

“Amrabat is a player we have been trying to sign since last season,” Casado said.

“We have traveled to Istanbul five times to try and sign him and will try again in January.

“We want Amrabat to stay here.”

The 27-year-old winger has three assists and three goals in his last five league games and was named in Marca’s October La Liga Team of the Month.
