Gaziantepspor boss Okan Buruk admitted he was disappointed with the refereeing decisions following their 1-0 loss against Galatasaray.

“The faul that led to the goal was not a foul,” Buruk said.

“The fourth referee told our technical staff that it was not a foul so I do not understand why he was overruled.

“There were also a number of dubious yellow cards and fouls that were not given to us.

“It all built up and was unfair, these decisions had a direct impact on the result.

“We were the better side for much of the game but we ran out of steam towards the end of the match.

“The refereeing decisions however, decided the outcome of the game.”

Buruk won seven league titles, the UEFA Cup and European Super Cup with Galatasaray.

The 41-year-old coach was also part of the Turkish national team that finished third in the 2002 World Cup.

Gaziantepspor dropped into 10th place following the defeat, while Galatasaray moved into first place on 22 points.
