Gaziantepspor confirm Trabzonspor’s interest in Muhammet Demir

Gaziantepspor President Ibrahim Kizil has confirmed that Trabzonspor are interested in signing Muhammet Demir.
Kizil spoke with local reporters about speculation linking Demir with a move away from the club.
“Lots of clubs are interested in signing Muhammet Demir. Trabzonspor have approached me this month,” Kizil stated.
“However, I cannot let him go as he is an important member of the team. I will meet with our manager Okan Buruk if any more offers are received.”
The 22-year-old striker has two and a half years remaining on his contract.
Demir has made one assist and scored six goals in 15 appearances for Gaziantepspor this season.
