Gaziantepspor’s new transfer Vitor passes his medical
Gaziantepspor’s new transfer João Vitor Lima Gomes has passed his medical examination and is set to put pen to paper on a loan deal keeping him at the Turkish Super League club until the end of the season.
The 26-year-old underwent the medical at the Medical Park Gaziantep hospital. Vitor will be available for Gaziantepspor’s game against Sivasspor this weekend.
Vitor will become Gaziantepspor’s second transfer during the January transfer window following the signing of the Sweden U21 international Ferhad Ayaz earlier this month.
The 26-year-old Brazilian was born in Alagoas, Brazil and plays in the defensive midfield position. Gaziantepspor manager Okan Buruk has made a number of changes to his squad in January after parting company with Ibrahim Akin and Carlos Costly.
Vitor has previously played for Club Deportivo Maldonado and Palmeiras. The 26-year-old’s contract with Criciuma expires at the the end of the season.
