Genoa interested in Galatasaray forward Goran Pandev

Serie A side Genoa are interested in signing Galatasaray’s out of favour forward Goran Pandev according to the Turkish newspaper Fanatik.

The report goes onto say that Genoa have established contact with Pandev’s representatives and that the Macedonian international has given the green light to the move.

Pandev currently ears €2.4 million per season at Galatasaray but will be on wages closer to €1.3 million per season if he agrees a move to Genoa.

The former Champions League winner has been linked moves to Italy and England.

Pandev struggled for playing time under former manager Cesare Prandelli however, Hamza Hamzaoğlu has been keen to keep the Macedonian international at the club.

The 31-year-old has scored four goals in eight appearances for Galatasaray this season.

Galatasaray take on bottom of the table Balikesirspor in the Turkish Super Lig this weekend. The Lions are currently in third place with 42 points in 19 games.
