Germany international urges Liverpool Liverpool star to join Euro Giants – Man United also interested

Liverpool star midfielder Emre Can has been closely linked with a move away from the Merseyside based club after failing to pen a contract extension.

The Reds bitter rivals Manchester United are reported to be interested in signing the 23-year-old however they are set to face serious competition from Juventus.

According to SkySports Italy, Juventus midfielder, Sami Khedira is urging Juventus to do all they can to sign Can.

Khedira plays alongside the Liverpool midfielder for the Germany national team.

“I know Emre very well,” Can told Sky In Italy.

“First of all Emre is a very good player. He is a young player, he can improve of course, he is powerful and is talented but of course he has to learn.

“And if there is a possibility that Juventus can sign this player you have to use this chance because I think he is a free agent in the summer period.

“So, if I am a manager, of course I would try and sign him.”

Liverpool recently sold Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona for a club record fee.

Can has remained a key part of Jurgen Klopp’s plans despite failing to pen a new deal.

The 23-year-old played the full 90 minutes during Liverpool’s win over Everton. Can is also expected to feature when Liverpool host Manchester City at Anfield this weekend.
