Germany – Netherlands: Expected Starting Line Up – Liverpool star Emre Can set to start

Germany take on the Netherlands in their first game since playing France in Paris during the attacks last week.

Netherlands failed to book a place in the European championships after finishing Group C in fourth place behind Turkey, Iceland and the Czech Republic.

The Dutch will however, have a strong side to pick from with Galatasaray playmaker Wesley Sneijder and Manchester United winger Memphis Depay available.

Germany national team boss recalled Beşiktaş striker Mario Gomez to the squad after an impressive start to the season scoring nine goals already and he is expected to feature at some stage.

Fellow Turkish Super League forward Galatasaray’s Lukas Podolski is also in the squad as is Germany international’s of Turkish origin Emre Can and İlkay Gündoğan.

Can has featured as a defender in Low’s Germany side up to now much like he did for former Liverpool boss Emre Can.

Germany have already booked a place in the European Championships this summer after topping their group.
