Emre Can starts for the Germany U21 national team tonight as they take on Serbia U21 in the U21 European Championships. The Liverpool star starts in midfield alongside Leitner.
Can underlined that he has been studying their opening group game opponents Serbia closely and has analysed their playing style using video footage of previous games.
“We know the other teams very well. We have seen Serbia’s recent games. We have watched a lot of videos of them,” Can was quoted as saying on the official UEFA website.

Can played as a defender for Liverpool this season in Brendan Rodgers back-three and as a right-back.
