Ghana international Daniel Opare recovers from injury

Beşiktaş released a statement confirming that fullback Daniel Opare does not have a hamstring injury.

The Ghana international was rumoured to have sustained a hamstring injury during the 2-0 win over Trabzonspor at the Avni Aker stadium.

Opare underwent medical tests after at the Acıbadem Fulya hospital but was given the all clear.

The statement read: “Daniel Opare was substituted out of the game due to hamstring pains, he underwent scans at the Acıbadem Fulya hospital but was given the all clear after the MR scan.”

The Ghana international joined the Black Eagles on loan from Porto over the winter transfer window.

Beşiktaş are reported to have a buyout clause option rumoured to be in the region of €2 million and have been trying to sign him on a permanent deal.

Opare has indicated that he is happy to stay in Turkey after settling in and establishing himself in the team.

Beşiktaş will be able to sign 14 and play 11 foreign players at any one time following the rule changes implemented by the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) that come into effect next season.
