Fenerbahçe won the derby 1-0 at the Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium.

The recovery of the Ghana international will be a welcome return for Beşiktaş manager Slaven Bilic who is currently struggling with an injury crisis.

The Black Eagles have had one of the worst injury records in the Süper Lig this season, Beşiktaş sustained a total of 41 injuries over the past seven months.

The Istanbul giants have had on average six injuries per month and January signing Alexander Milosevic is not expected to return until the end of the season as well.

Opare has been in impressive form for Beşiktaş ever since breaking into the starting line-up against Liverpool in the Europa League Round of 32.
