Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund have both secured a place in the Champions League Last 16 however, first place is still up for grabs.

Third place Anderlecht have guaranteed a spot in the Europa League.

Galatasaray however, are bottom of the group with just one point from five games with no chance of making the Europa League.

Arsenal would have to beat Galatasaray in Istanbul to stand any chance of overtaking first place Dortmund.

Galatasaray met English opponents in last season’s competition, drawing 1-1 at home against Chelsea in the Last 16.

The Lions are undefeated in their last five home matches against English teams, winning three and drawing two.

Arsenal however, have never lost over 90 minutes to Turkish sides but their one loss in European competition did come against Galatasaray on penalties in the 1999-00 UEFA Cup.

Hamza Hamzaoğlu will take charge of his first Champions League game as manager of Galatasaray after replacing Cesare Prandelli last month.

Hamzaoğlu has won two out of two since since his appointment and has underlined that his side will be playing to restore pride in the club.

Arsenal also need Borussia Dortmund to lose if they want to clinch first spot.

Dortmund need just a draw to finish the group in first place but were they to lose and Arsenal to win it would be the Germans who wrap up the group stages in second.
