Galatasaray boss Hamza Hamzaoğlu has underlined that every match until the end of the season will be like a final.
The Lions boss urged his side not to fall into the trap of focusing solely on the derby against Beşiktaş in the penultimate week.
“The Beşiktaş derby is not the decider, all six matches are like a final, if we drop points in the other games it will not matter what happens in the derby,” Hamzaoğlu was quoted as saying in Eurosport TR.
Hamzaoğlu revealed that Galatasaray will be treating every game with the same level of concentration.
“Every three point counts, we have to be so careful and fight the the end,” he added.
The Lions are currently second on goal difference to leaders Beşiktaş but only one point separates them from third placed Fenerbahçe.
Galatasaray take on 11th placed Akhisar next at the 19 Mayıs stadium in Manisa.
The Akigolar are coached by former Fenerbahçe fullback Roberto Carlos and have only lost one of their last six home games.
