Hamzaoglu signs 3-year contract as Galatasaray manager

Hamza Hamzaoğlu has signed a three-year contract extension as manager of Galatasaray the club revealed on the stock exchange.

Hamzaoğlu will make $2 million per-season and earn a $250,000 bonus for winning the league as well as a $125,000 bonus for lifting the Turkish Cup.

The Galatasaray boss will also make $125,000 for getting his side into the Champions League quarter finals a further $250,000 for a semi-final finish and a further $500,000 for reaching the final.

Hamzaoğlu replaced Cesare Prandelli as Lions head coach in November under former president Duygun Yarsuvat.

The ex Akhisar manager signed a one-year deal worth $500,000 making him one of the lowest paid members in the squad and one of the lowest paid managers in the league but he still managed to win the league and Turkish Cup.

Galatasaray won the double for the sixth time in club history under Hamzaoğlu and earned the right to become the first Turkish club to wear the fourth star.
